Membership Goal
By joining the Africa College of Project Management, (ACPM) you are supporting our mission to promote excellence in the project and facility management industry, and to be a respected profession across all business environments. Africa College Project Management is globally recognized for educating and certifying Project Management professionals who have the passion to advance their profession by providing relevant, convenient, and challenging educational resources.
Membership Level
Graduate Member
Must be a graduate of accredited tertiary institutions in relevant fields.
Associate Member
New or posses some years of experience in the project and facility management field.
Full Member
A lead project manager or a part of a project team from the start to finish, with not less than 5 years working experience.
Fellow Member
Posses higher level of project management skills in leading project teams and must be at the top of his career.
Doctorate Member
Minimum of 15 years working experience with prior relevant experience in project management. or must have been a Full member for 3 (three) years.
The Honorary Fellows category are being awarded as being nominated by the Institute management board. This category is established by the by-law of the ACPM. Honorary fellows are selected from individuals and firms who have rendered services to their community and have achieved tremendous success in their careers especially in the Project management profession.
In the evaluation process, the following criteria are considered: significance of achievement; originality; impact on society; impact on the profession, and publications. Such individuals mostly should a person of varied background who are holding leadership positions in the Project Management or related industry, in government or an academia. The fellow most have an impeccable excellence in both personal and career reputation.
The presentations are normally done at our Induction and investiture programs which comes up as being announced by the Institute.
